Cuál  es la utilización de las bases de datos.?
es para almacenar registros de cualquier cosa.. que posteriormente podras mandar llamar a traves de sentencias, para hacer consultas sobre algo, practicamente lo que sea... y tambien de ahí poder hacer cosas como calculos etc.
Se usan para guardar la informacion de un usario como su clave direccion email , y asi cuando te logeas en una pagina, ya tienen todos tus datos y te facilitan la informacion.

Qué tipos de bases de datos existen?

las jerarquicas generalmente se utilizan en bancos, son muy efectivas pero muy complejas y rigidas.

las realcionales son las mas comunes de hoy en dia y son del tipo 'access'.

Las orientadas a objetos son algo mas complejas que las relacionales y no estan tan utilizadas como estas porque son muy pocas las funcionalidades ventajosas en comparacion con esta. YA no se habla de tablas planas sino de clases, objetos y atributos. 

Sin embargo no hay que confundir los sitemas de bases de datos CON LOS DIAGRAMS DE BASES DE DATOS. que si bien siguen mas o menos la misma linea NO SON LO MISMO. Uno apunta al diseño 'en papel' y el otro al diseño 'logico'.

Qué tipos de relaciones son mas utilizadas en bases de datos?

one of the places that I really liked was the butterfly house love me a lot while we were inside of the butterfly, one of them stood in the hand of cheryl was very nice and she was very excited one began to scream with excitement . after lunch together and look at pictures of when I was a child after that we continue with the tour and it was 3 in the afternoon when you give some gifts I gave some beautiful flowers and a box with my picture, she ran and was attracting a suitcase full of things .... was a backpack full of clothes, colors, toys, a bible and much more both cried that God had given us this great opportunity to be together.
